(a) whether the Government has tested the effectiveness of the Kritiscan UV- Baggage Disinfection System;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government proposes to distribute such a system to railway stations, airports and bus stations; and
(d) if so, a detailed breakup of such allocations to all the bus-stations, airports and railway stations and other public establishments in Andhra Pradesh?

(a) & (b) Yes Sir, Ultra Violet light intensity at different locations of UV baggage disinfection system was measured by Kritiscan personnel under online video supervision of scientists from International Advanced Centre for Powdered Metallurgy, Hyderabad, an autonomous Institute of Department of Science and Technology. As per the readings obtained, the intensity at appropriate locations in the chamber for given speed of the baggage conveyor are in the known disinfection range.
(c) & (d): No Sir. Ministry of Science and Technology has no plan to distribute such a system to railway stations, airports and bus stations.
