(a) the States which have recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with foreign collaborators for Foreign District Investment (FDI) to produce steel;
(b) whether the Union Government has identified any PSU units in States to undertake production with FDI; and
(c) if so, the details of such steel units identified for the purpose, State-wise?

(a) As per available information, one Memorandum of Understading each has been signed by the Governments of Orissa and Jharkhand with foreign collaborators for setting up steel projects.
(b) Union Government has not identified any PSU units in States to undertake production with FDI.
(c) Does not arise in view of (b) above.
