(d): The Agricultural and Processed Foods Products Export
Development Authority (APEDA) provides financial assistance
under it’s various schemes such as scheme for Market Development,
scheme for Infrastructure Development, scheme for Quality Development,
scheme for Research & Development and scheme for Transport Assistance
for promotion of exports. They also participate in international trade
fairs along with its member exporters. They carry out regular
interaction with exporters, provide facilities for creation of
infrastructure facilities and R&D support as and when required
and disseminate market intelligence through website and Agri
Trade Portal.
(e): The Ministry of Food Processing Industries under its various
plan schemes viz. Technical upgradation/setting up/expansion of Food
Processing Industries, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point and
International Organisation for Standardization provides financial
assistance for the development and modernization of food processing
industries to make them more competitive in global markets.
