Question : REGISTRATION FEE FOR FIIS

(a) whether SEBI has revised the registration fee for FIIs; and

(b) if so, the details thereof ?

(a)&(b): Yes, Sir. SEBI has raised the registration/renewal fees for Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) from US$ 5,000 to US$ 10,000 and for sub accounts from US$ 1,000 to US$ 2,000 with effect from 26th June, 2006. The validity of registration/renewal of FIIs has been reduced from 5 years to 3 years.
