(a) & (b): Yes Sir.
(c): Schools are free to offer any regional language of India at primary level as
per the needs of students. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) does
not give any directions in this respect.
The Government has appointed CBSE as the Examination Conducting
Body for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Further, the Government has asked
CBSE that CTET should be conducted in 20 languages.

(d) & (e): As per the recommendations of National Curriculum Framework-2005
and other educational policy documents, mother tongue should be taught as the
first language and subsequently two more languages should be taught at school
level. Education being a subject matter of both State and Centre, States are free
to make the policy of education independently.
