THE MINISTER OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES, MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND PENSIONS, MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PLANNING AND MINISTER OF STATE IN THE DEPARTMENTS OF ATOMIC ENERGY AND SPACE. (SMT.VASUNDHARA RAJE)

(a): Yes, Sir.

(b)&(c): The Central Government Employees Pension Association, Gujarat had submitted a memorandum raising certain demands for the benefit of the pensioners. Most of these demands emanate from the recommendations of V Central Pay Commission like additional pension for additional service, restoration of commuted pension after 12 years, grant of Interim Relief to employed family pensioners and a number of other facilities like free travel, free telephones etc. These demands have been examined and it has not been possible to accept all the demands made in view of the administrative and financial implications involved.

The position with reference to various demands raised has been intimated to the Association for their information.
