(a) whether the contribution of the food processing sector to the agricultural productivity in the country continues to be low;
(b) if so, whether the Government has undertaken any survey or study to determine
the potential benefits that food processing can have on boosting agricultural productivity;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether there is any proposal to undertake such a study or promote research
in this field in agricultural universities; and
(e) if so, the details thereof and the funds allocated for the development of food processing units in the last two years?
