(a) whether it is a fact that the students are suffering due to multiple Boards in the country and delay in declaration of results by the respective Boards;
(b) if so, whether the Government proposes to issue guidelines to all the Boards to declare results simultaneously;
(c) if so, the details of the steps taken by the Government in this regard; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (d): Education being a subject in the Concurrent List of the Constitution, majority of the school education boards are under the purview of the respective State Governments. This Ministry held a meeting of all State Education Boards on 28.10.2015 on Examination Reforms and preparation of rank list for JEE(Main) and JEE(Advanced). State Education Boards were suggested to declare results of Class12 before 31st May of the year for timely preparation of rank list of JEE(Main) Examination.
