(a) the present status of Silchar-Guwahati four-lane expressway via Haflong;
(b) the present status of Silchar bypass (Ram Nagar ISBT to Sonabarighat to Kashipur);
(c) the present status of road from Balachera to Englabari via Kathakhal; and
(d) the time frame set for completion of work on the said projects?

(a) Four laning of Silchar-Guwahati National Highway via Haflong has been completed substantially. However, Jatinga-Harangajao section and Narimbanglo-Jatinga Section were affected due to natural calamities for which Detailed Project Report has been started. Morever, the work for development to 4-lane of Balachera-Harangjao section of NH-54 has also been started.
(b) The work of construction of Silchar bypass (Ram Nagar ISBT to Sonabarighat to Kashipur) is envisaged for foreclosure due to poor performance of Contractor.
(c) Balachera to Englabari via Kathakhal stretch has been taken up for upgradation. The stretch from Balachera to Badarpur via Kathakhal and has already been completed and preparation of Detailed Project Report from Badarpur to Englabari has been taken up.
(d) The work of the entire stretch is likely to be completed by 2023.
