Question : ROAD UNDER BRIDGES

(a) whether the Government has received any proposal from the State Government of Haryana for construction of six Road Under Bridges (RUBs) near villages Gaindawas, Siwani, Jhumpakalan, Barwa, Motipura and Baralu at various Sections of Siwani region, District Bhiwani (Haryana);

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether it is also a fact that the State Government of Haryana has remitted a sum of Rs.6,50,15,902/- (Rupees six crore fifty lac fifteen thousand nine hundred two only) to the North Western Railway, Bikaner (Rajasthan) for construction of said RUB;

(d) if so, the details thereof and the present status thereof RUB-wise and the time by which these RUB works will be initiated; and

(e) the exact time being taken for the completion of these six RUBs?

(a) & (b) Yes, Madam. The proposal consist of construction of Road Under Bridges (RUBs) at 06 locations i.e. at km 43.660, 46.110, 24.600, 36.090 and 32.100 on Hisar-Sadulpur section and at km 184.200 on Rewari-Sadulpur section of Bikaner Division on Deposit terms.

(c) & (d) Yes, Madam. Public Works Department (PWD)/ Haryana Government has deposited amount of Rs.6,50,15,902/- with Railway for the 06 RUBs works.

Railway has opened the tenders for construction of these RUBs on 10.01.2014 which are under finalization.

(e) The works are expected to be completed in 08 months after finalization of the tenders.
