(a) the number of applications received from Andhra Pradesh
for telephone connections under the discretionary quota as
on date, district-wise;
(b) the number of connections provided so far, district-wise;
(c) the number of applications lying pending, district-wise;
(d) the reasons for delay; and
(e) the time by which remaining applications are likely to be cleared?

(a) to(c)Sir, the district-wise details of applications received from Andhra Pradesh
for telephone connections under discretionary quota from 1.1.2002 to 31.7.2004, the
number of connections provided so far and the applications lying pending are given in
Annexure.
(d) The connections are pending due to areas being technically non-feasible.
(e) The remaining applications are likely to be cleared by 31.12.2004 progressively.
