Question : SPECTRUM AUCTION

(a) whether the Government proposes to hold next round of spectrum auctions both for 3G and 2G;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the bands of spectrum proposed to be auctioned along with the base reserve price of each band;

(c) whether the Government has sufficient spectrum for the auction and the Ministry of Defence has surrendered the surplus spectrum for the auction;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) the time by which the next auction is proposed to be held along with the revenue likely to be generated out of it?

(a) & (b) The next Spectrum Auction is scheduled to start in March 2015. The details of the Auction are as given under:-
