(a) whether the Government has received any proposals from Madhya Pradesh regarding setting up of `Gene Bank` for cultivation of medicinal plants on private land ;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government thereon; and
(c) the time by which these proposals are likely to be approved?

(a) No such proposal has been received. However, proposals received from Madhya Pradesh Medicinal Plants Board under Promotional and Contractual Farming Scheme of the National Medicinal Plants Board have been considered and sanctioned.
