(a) to (b) : Yes, sir. The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying from the current financial year (2020-21) is implementing a new scheme namely Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana(PMMSY) - A scheme to bring about Blue Revolution through sustainable and responsible development of fisheries sector in India. The PMMSY inter-alia provides financial assistance for development of ornamental fish farming including setting up backyard ornamental fish rearing units, medium scale ornamental fish rearing units, Integrated ornamental fish units, Establishment of freshwater ornamental fish brood banks, marketing facilities and promotion etc.
