(a) Yes, Madam.
(b) NFDB provides financial assistance for up-gradation and modernization of existing fishing harbours and fish landing centres in various States to meet the quality standards.
Details on Fishing Harbours and Fish landing centres upgraded with the financial assistance of NFDB are given below:

(c) & (d) Yes, Madam. NFDB provides financial assistance for implementation of the following four types of activities for development of ornamental fisheries in the country.
i) Establishment of Ornamental backyard hatcheries.ii) Setting up of medium scale ornamental breeding and rearing units iii) Establishment of integrated ornamental fishery units and iv) Setting up of aquarium fabrication units
In addition to that, NFDB is providing assistance for implementation of various schemes for enhancement of fish production and productivity in the country. NFDB schemes that are being implemented for promotion of fisheries and enhancement of fish production are: Intensive Aquaculture in ponds and tanks, Reservoir Fisheries Development, Ornamental fisheries, Coastal Aquaculture, mariculture, Seaweed Cultivation, Domestic Marketing, Fish Dressing Centre and Solar Drying of Fish, Deep Sea Fishing and Tuna Processing, infrastructure development and Post-harvest processing
(e) to (g) Yes, Madam. NFDB provides assistance for developing hygienic fish markets across the country. Details on hygienic fish markets that are assisted by the NFDB since inception are given below:
