Exchange for simplifying the routing and networking of Internet Service
Providers; and
(b) the name of the towns and cities selected for setting up of such exchanges Statewise?

(a) National Internet Exchange is not planned presently by the Department of
Telecom. Services. However, a National Inernet Backbone is being set up which will also provide connectivity to Internet Service Providers.
(b) Does not arise in view of (a) above.
