Question : Accident-Attacks on Passenger Aircrafts

(a) whether the Government has taken note of the recent spurt in accidents/attacks on passenger aircrafts cross the globe;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the Government has formulated any action plan to ensure safety of the countrys aircrafts;

(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and

(e) the corrective measures taken/being taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) Yes Madam.

(b) to (e) No civil aircraft is permitted to fly in the conflict zone. The destinations/zones which have been declared as no go zones are published in the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) of respective country. Notification for the information of all concerned regarding their respective airspace affected by the conflict is published by the respective country responsible for providing air traffic services. DGCA issues instructions from time to time to ensure safety of the Indian Registered Aircrafts.
