(a) The details of the funds released to Darbhanga in Bihar and Sonepat in Haryana under various schemes of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas;
(b) Whether the funds released under the said schemes have been utilised under the respective schemes;
(c) If so, the details of the schemes under which work has been completed or is near completion; and
(d) The reasons for non-completion of the said works?

(a) to (d): Government has set a target of providing 8 crore LPG connections countrywide under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana (PMUY) by March 2020. Under the scheme, a budgetary support of Rs. 1600 per connection is provided to the beneficiaries. As on 01.02.2019, 3.71 lakhs and 32,864 LPG connections have been provided in Darbhanga district in Bihar and Sonepat district in Haryana respectively. There is no district level target for number of connections which can be released under the scheme.
