(a) the present status of the recommendation (Sl No. 42) of the second report of CPR (15th L.S.) relating to the issue of position of the Members of Parliament (MPs) in the warrant of precedence and the present position of the MPs in the said Warrant;
(b) whether the said recommendation has been implemented; and
(c) if not, the steps being taken in this regard?

(a) to (c) : 46 pending proposals regarding amendment in the Table of Precedence including the elevation of the status of the Members of Parliament from Article 21 to Article 17 in the Table of Precedence were submitted to the Group of Officers chaired by the Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat on 01.07.2015, wherein it was decided that any proposal for amendment in the ToP should be looked at very carefully and orders of the Supreme Court of 1995 have to be kept in view. The Members of Parliament are at Article 21 in the Table of Precedence.
