Question : EXPORT PRICES OF FOODGRAINS

(a) the prices of foodgrains for export in accordance with the WTO regulations;

(b) the details of the WTO regulations for export of foodgrains;

(c) whether the price of foodgrains supplied to the exporters by the Food Corporation of India is in accordance with the WTO regulations;

(d) if not, the price at which the foodgrains are supplied to the exporters; and

(e) the comparison of these prices with the open market prices?

(a),(b),(c),(d)&(e): Foodgrains are being offered to the exporters at the Open Market Sales Schemes (Domestic) price of the FCI. However, post-delivery and other related expenses, which are WTO compatible, are allowed.
