(a) whether the Government had decided to make performance related payment w.e.f.January,2007 to the officers of Coal India Limited (CIL) and its subsidiaries;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the officers of the CIL and its subsidiaries are being given salary as per the said standards and if so, the details thereof; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor and the corrective measures proposed to be taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) & (b): The Government has conveyed on 26.10.2015 its approval to the CIL’s proposal for payment of Performance Related Pay (PRP) to executives of CIL and its subsidiaries with effect from 01.01.2007. CIL has informed that PRP has been paid to the executives of CIL and its subsidiaries for the years 2007-08 to 2013-14.
(c) & (d): Officers of CIL and its subsidiaries are given salary as per their pay scales, which are as per Department of Public Enterprises’s orders/guidelines.
