Question : DAIRY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS FROM M.P.



(a) whether the Union Government have received any new proposals from the States for Integrated Dairy Development Projects particularly from Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra;

(b) if so , the details of each proposal received during the current year and their status thereof;

(c) the funds allocated and released for phase-I and phase-II projects; and

(d) the time by which the proposals are likely to be cleared ?

(a) & (b) : Government of Madhya Pradesh had submitted a proposal for a pilot project for Integrated Cattle Development Programme in Sidhi District of Madhya Pradesh in February, 2000. The proposal had not been prepared according to guidelines and the State Government was requested to submit a revised proposal as per guidelines. No revised proposal has so far been received.

No new proposal has been received from Maharashtra during the current year.

(c) : Funds allocated and released for earlier projects sanctioned for Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra are as under :
