(a) whether labour intensive productivity particularly
agricultural productivity of the country is lower than that
of other countries;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the steps taken by the Government to improve labour
intensive productivity in the country?

(a) to (c) : Relevant data comparing labour intensive
productivity in the agriculture sector in India with that of
other countries is not maintained. Efforts to improve labour
intensive productivity in the country is a continuing process
through upgradation of skills and use of inputs like
fertilizers, irrigation etc.
