Question : Air Cargo Facilities in Rajahmundry

(a) whether the AAI Cargo Logistics Company has decided to provide air cargo facilities in Rajahmundry airport in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh and if so, the details thereof;

(b) whether there are any plans to set up integrated cargo terminal at Rajahmundry and if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the time by which the said facilities and terminal is going to come up at the above airport?

(a) to (c): Yes Sir. The Domestic Cargo Terminal Building is ready in all respects at Rajahmundry Airport, subject to Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) approval. Presently there is no plan to upgrade this Domestic Cargo Terminal and set up an Integrated Cargo Terminal facility at Rajahmundry Airport.
