Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES & AGRO AND RURAL INDUSTRIES

(a): Though the development and promotion of small scale industries is primarily the responsibility of the respective State/Union Territory (UT) Governments/Administrations, the Central Government supports and supplements the efforts of the State Governments/UT Administrations through various schemes/programmes relating to credit, infrastructural development, technology upgradation, marketing, entrepreneurial development, etc.

(b)&(c): The schemes/programmes are implemented across the country for which the allocation of funds is made scheme/programme-wise and not State-wise.
