(a)&(b) There is no proposal to review the Agri Export Zone policy. A peer evaluation
of the performance of the existing Agri Export Zones(AEZs) with a view to ascertain
the reasons for shortfall in achievement of targets and suggest remedial action has
been carried out.
(c) The AEZs envisage an investment of Rs 1717.95 crore and exports valued at
Rs 11821 crore. The actual investment and exports, till date have been to the extent
of Rs 820.08 crore and Rs 5340.08 crore respectively. Details are given below:
