(a) the details of ammunition disposed off and waiting break down or demolition during the last three years and the current year; and
(b) the amount of revenue released from the disposal of unserviceable ammunition in timely manner during the said period?

(a) Arising of unserviceable ammunitions are a regular feature due to expiry of service life of ammunition, defects etc. Accordingly, all Depots carry out the exercise of disposal of unserviceable ammunition on a regular basis.
(b) Ammunition items are broken down to individual components, metal scrap etc. by demolition / break down and only those components which do not contain explosives are sold through e-auction as part of overall scrap. Separate details on revenue realized from disposal of ammunition is not maintained.
