(a)&(b) Yes, Sir. Presently, nine reactors (9) are under construction (including PFBR of 500 MWe capacity being implemented by BHAVINI) with a capacity of 6700 MW. In addition, the Government has accorded administrative approval and financial sanction for twelve (12) more reactors with a capacity of 9000 MW. These projects will be progressively completed by 2031. The details are as follows:

(c) The power generated from the Nuclear Power Plants is allocated to the beneficiary states and union territories in the electricity region by the Ministry of Power in accordance with the extant formula.
(d) The electricity generated from nuclear power complements the other sources of electricity generation to meet the electricity requirements of the beneficiaries. With the progressive completion of the under construction, sanctioned and planned nuclear power projects, the share of nuclear power would increase in the country.
