Question : BAN ON EXCAVATION OF BRICK EARTH

(a) whether it is true that the Supreme Court has put a blanket ban on the excavation of brick earth for brick moulding;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the details of action taken/propose to be taken by the Government to create alternate source to augment supply of basic raw material to brick-kiln industry?

(a) Hon’ble Supreme Court has not put a blanket ban on the excavation of brick earth for brick moulding.
