(a) whether the India Trend Fair is proposed to be organised in Tokyo, Japan during this year;
(b) if so, the details and the objectives thereof;
(c) the details of companies likely to participate in the Fair, State-wise; and
(d) the details of export targets along with the revenue likely to be earned therefrom?

(a) & (b): Yes Madam, India Trend Fair (ITF) is scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan from 15 17 July, 2015. Trend Fair is an exclusive Business Matching Event which gives an opportunity to exporters to showcase their products and supply capabilities of value added products with special emphasis on the products designed to suit Japanese fashion trends and requirements. The visiting buyers include manufacturers, wholesalers, trading companies, importers, select and specialist shops, department stores, volume and online retailers etc. This proposal envisages participation of Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) and the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (Texprocil) under the Market Access Initiative Scheme.
(c) & (d): A Statement indicating companies, who have confirmed participation (till now) is at Annexure. It is difficult to forecast the likely revenue to be earned from the event.
