MINISTER OF SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES & AGRO AND RURAL INDUSTRIES ( SHRI MAHABIR PRASAD )

(a)&(b): The Central Government formulates the Foreign Trade Policy which, among other things, seeks to promote exports from India, including those by the small scale industries. To assist the small scale industries in increasing their exports, the Government in the Ministry of Small Scale Industries implements several schemes which include (i) participation in international trade fairs,(ii) holding catalogue exhibitions (iii) dissemination of information on international tenders, (iv) exchange of business delegations, etc.

(c): In respect of exports, the Foreign Trade Policy of the Government does not distinguish between the products manufactured by large and small scale industries.
