(a) whether a meeting of the Finance Ministers from the Commonwealth countries was
held in London from 24th to 26th September, 2002;
(b) if so, the whether India also participated in the meeting; and
(c) if so, the details of the discussions held and the outcome thereof?

(a) and (b) Yes, Sir.
(c) The meeting marked an important step forward, translating the commitments made at Doha,
Monterey and Johannesburg into a concrete Action Plan for the Commonwealth. In the
spirit of the Commonwealth, this Action Plan reflects a new partnership between developed
and developing countries.
