Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state that the details of allocation of funds for research and development of low cost drugs, preventive vaccines and personalised medicines during the last three years along with the expenditure incurred thereon?

As informed by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the allocation of funds to the division of Basic Medical Science (BMS) which carries out research and development of low cost drugs, preventive vaccines and personalized medicines, during the last three years was Rs. 80.87 Crore. The year-wise breakup is as under:

In addition, ICMR also allocates funds to its Institutes for research and development of low cost drugs, preventive vaccines and personalized medicines. The details of funds released to these Institutes during last three years are as under:
