(a) Airports Authority of India(AAI) has proposed to incur an expenditure of Rs.12434 crores for
the infrastructure development of airports in the country during the 11th Five Year Plan.
(b)& (c) The details of proposed 11th Five Year Plan(2007-12) capital expenditure are as
under:
(A) Non-Metro Airports
(i) Civil & Electrical works at Non Metro Airports(Rs.4131.00 crores);
(ii) Aeronautical Communication Services(Rs.1743.16 crores);
(iii)Information Technology
(Rs.86.75 crores);
(iv) Ground Safety Services {Equipment}(Rs. 482.62 crores).
(B)Metro Airports
1.Kolkata International
(i)Modernisation Schemes(Rs.1942.51 crores);
(ii)Other Schemes
(Rs.474.78 crores);
2.Chennai International
(i)Modernisation Schemes(Rs.2249.41 crores),
(ii)
Other Schemes(Rs.213.08);
3.Trivandrum International(Rs. 452.35 crores);
4.Facilitation and
Operational Equipments(Rs.347.00 crores);
(C) Equity contribution in JV companies(DIAL, MIAL, BIAL & HIAL)(Rs.185.68 crores); and
(D) New Green Field Airports(Equity) (Rs.126.00 crores) respectively.
(d),(e)&(f) Yes, Sir.AAI has signed an MoU with Transparency International India on 15.02.2008
for implementation of Integrity Pact w.e.f. 01.04.2008 on contracts for
Civil/Electrical/Composite projects of value more than rupees 50 crores & CNS/Electronics
Projects,Land and commercial contracts of more than rupees 25 crores.
