(a) whether the Government proposes to introduce a single contact number for all emergency services like ambulance, police, fire rescue, etc.;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the service would be provided in regional languages also; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) Madam, there are separate codes for the emergency services like police(100), fire rescue(101) and
ambulance(102). Presently there is no such proposal to have a single number for all such emergency services.
