(a): Yes, Sir.
(b): The proposal is to set up a Mini Tool Room at Thiruvananthapuram through Kerala State Electronic Development Corporation Ltd. (KELTRON), the land and building for which is already available. The total cost of the project is Rs. 1477.00 lakhs, which include plant and machinery worth Rs. 1168.00 lakhs and expansion of building at an estimated cost of Rs. 100.00 lakhs.
(c): The Centrally Sponsored Scheme for providing one time assistance to State Governments for setting up of Mini Tool Rooms is under active consideration of the Government.
The action on the proposal from Kerala would be undertaken, once the scheme becomes operational.
