The district and year-wise details of quantity and value of crop procured in Uttar Pradesh is as under:
I. Wheat at Annexure-VII
II. Paddy at Annexure-VIII
III. Maize at Annexure-IX
III. Pulses and oilseeds at Annexure-X
(c) and (d): State Govt. decides to open purchase center at any location in the State taking into account the production, marketable surplus, convenience of farmers and availability of other logistics/infrastructure such as storage and transportation etc.
Rajasthan Government has informed that for RMS 2022-23, 33 centres have been set up for wheat procurement in Chittorgarh District of Rajasthan.
In the Pratapgarh District of Uttar Pradesh, purchase centers for procurement of wheat and paddy are opened in every Rabi/Kharif Season. During KMS 2021-22 total 53 paddy purchase centers & during RMS 2021-22 total 50 wheat purchase center have been opened.
