Answer given by the minister

- MINISTER OF STATE(INDEPENDENT CHARGE) OF THE MINISTRY OF CIVIL AVIATION( SHRI PRAFUL PATEL )

(a), (b), (c)& (d): Neither Jet Airways nor Sahara Airlines has requested for any extension of time to commence operations on the sectors allocated to them. Both the airlines have indicated that they would be utilizing the traffic rights within the Summer season 2005, i.e. between 27th March, 2005 to 29th October, 2005. Jet Airways has, in fact, already commenced operations between Mumbai and Singapore.
