(a) whether the Government has any proposal for setting up of more Agricultural Colleges and Universities across the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State/UT-wise and the amount earmarked for implementation of the proposal;
(c) whether the Government has any proposal to set up any Agricultural College or University in the State of Tamil Nadu; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the steps taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) & (b): There are two proposals under consideration for establishment of Central Agricultural Universities during the 12th Five Year Plan. The details are given as under:-
