(b) if so, the details thereof for the last three years, State/UT-wise; and

(a) and (b): The Union Government has been implementing National Solar Mission under which various Schemes as detailed in Annexure-I have been launched. The state-wise details of cumulative installed solar power capacity during last three years are given in Annexure-II.
(c) The Government of India has launched a new Scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri - Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM)’ to enhance energy independence and income of farmers. The scheme, inter alia, provides for:
(i) setting up of grid-connected renewable energy power plants each of capacity upto 2 MW by farmers;
(ii) installation of 17.5 lakh standalone off-grid solar water pumps by 2022;
(iii) solarization of 10 lakh existing grid-connected agriculture pumps by 2022.
