(b) the details and number of cases filed against senior
officials for major penalty and convicted during the above period?

(a): Centralized data is not maintained. However, organization-wise details
where the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) in its 2nd stage advice had
recommended major penalty against senior Government officers and finally
the officer has been given warning or administrative action or exoneration
by the concerned Disciplinary Authorities during the year 2008, 2009 and
2010 is given at Annexure A.
(b): Centralized data is not maintained. However, organization-wise
details of cases against senior officers in respect of whom major
penalties were imposed by the respective Disciplinary Authority as
furnished by the CVC are given at Annexure B.
