(a) the number and details of historical buildings in Madhya Pradesh, district-wise;

(b) the amount spent over the maintenance of the said buildings by the Government during the last three years;

(c) the number of tourists visiting these memorials during the last three years; and

(d) The details of revenue received from the buildings located in Madhya Pradesh during the last three years?

(a) There are 291 monuments and sites of national importance in the state of Madhya Pradesh. District-wise details are given at Annexure-I

(b) Expenditure incurred on these protected monuments and sites during the last three year is as under:

(c) & (d) These protected monuments are open to public without any entry fee, except 14 places where ticket is charged. The number of tourists visiting these ticketed monuments during the last three years and revenue collected through sale of entry tickets is at Annexure-II.
