(a) whether the Government has taken any action to keep the parking fee collection cabin at the entry at both domestic and international terminals at airport in Ahmedabad, if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Government is aware that the parking fee collection booth is at the outside of the parking lot
at Ahmedabad airport; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the parking charges on hourly basis at Ahmedabad airport at present?

(a) : Yes, Madam. As per the tender conditions of Airports Authority of India (AAI), the parking fee collection cabin is at the entry at both Domestic and International terminals at Ahmedabad airport. ;

(b) & (c) : Yes, Madam. The parking fee collection booths are installed at the entry/exit points of the airport approach roads and not necessarily inside the designated car parking area. The regulation of entry/exit of vehicles into the airport area and free parking allowed for pick up / drop of passengers is regulated by the car parking licensee. The parking charges at Ahmedabad airport is as given below:;

The above rates are applicable for first 04 hours. The charges are double for parking up to 08 hours and 04 times beyond 08 hours up to 24 hours and every 24 hours or part thereof.
