Will the Minister of CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS be pleased to state:
(a) the criteria fixed for development of Medical Device Park in AURIC Bidkin area;
(b) whether a proposal from the State Government of Maharashtra for release of financial assistance for developing Meidcal Device Park in AURIC Bidkin is pending with the Union Government;
(c) if so, the reasons therefor along with the present status thereof; and
(d) the action taken by the Government on the said proposal, if any?

(a): The Government has not fixed any criteria for development of Medical Device Park in AURIC Bidkin area.
(b) to (d): The Government of Maharashtra, through Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation has submitted a proposal for setting up of a Medical Device Park at AURIC Smart City, Bidkin, Aurangabad seeking financial assistance under the scheme “Promotion of Medical Device Parks”. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided for setting up of 4 medical device parks in the country. The Government has received 16 proposals from States/UTs under the scheme. The proposals are under evaluation.
