(a) whether his Ministry has been requested to set up book stalls at all the airports across the country;
(b) if so, the details and the objectives thereof along with the response of the Ministry thereto; and
(c) the total number of shops situated in the premises of Indira Gandhi International Airport and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport along with the monthly rental income therefrom and the items which are sold at these shops?

(a) & (b) : Various facilities including book stalls at airports are provided by the concerned airport operators. Requests for such facilities, as and when received, are forwarded to the concerned airport operators for appropriate action and subject to availability of space, these facilities are provided by them from time to time.
(c): The Information is being collected from the concerned airport operators, i.e., Mumbai International Airport Ltd. (MIAL), Delhi International Airport Ltd.(DIAL) and Airports Authority of India (AAI) and will be laid on the Table of the House.
