of the Disinvestment of Policy;

(a) Modernisation and upgradation of Public Sector Enterprises is one of the objectives of the policy of disinvestment.
(b) The amount realised from disinvestmentin PSUs has been deposited in the Consolidated Fund of India, from which
the Government meets the expenditure for upgradation of PSUs among other requirements.
