(a) whether the Rajiv Rinn Yojana (RRY) is a non – starter in many of the States ;
(b) if so, the details thereof, State-wise;
(c) whether the Government is contemplating any other alternative course of action to provide low interest housing loans to EWSs / LIGs ; and
(d) if so, the details thereof ?

(a) to (b) : Yes, Madam. Rajiv Rinn Yojana (RRY) has not taken off except one case each from the States of Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
(c) to (d) : The Government is contemplating a new scheme as a sub – component under Housing for All Mission to provide low interest housing loans to Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) and Low Income Groups (LIGs) by enhancing the scope and coverage of the interest subsidy scheme.
