Statement In Respect Of Parts (a) To (c) Of Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No.1662 for 6th March 2000 regarding Tower Telephone Connection in Bihar
(a), (b) & (c): There is demand for public telephone facility in villages of Monghyr, Godda, Devghar & Dumka districts of Bihar. VPTs are being provided through tower telephones, underground cables and Overhead lines in these districts. Government plans are to provide the facility in all the remaining villages gradually by March,2002 subject to the availability of resources.
