Question : CRZ Notification

(a) whether the Union Government has received any proposal from the State Government of Maharashtra for environmental clearance regarding issue of Greater Mumbai pertaining to CRZ Notification 2011 (MCGM), preparation of new development plan for Mumbai including redevelopment of dilapidated, cessed and unsafe buildings;
(b) if so, the details in this regard;
(c) the present status of the said proposals; and
(d) the time by which the said proposals are likely to be finalised along with the reasons for delay in this regard?

(a)No proposal has been received in the Ministry from Government of Maharashtra seeking environmental clearance under Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) Notification, 2011 for new development plan of Mumbai including redevelopment of dilapidated, cessed and unsafe buildings in CRZ areas of Mumbai.

(b) to (d) : Does not arise in view of answer at (a) above.
