(a) whether unscrupulous use of heavy doses of pesticides have been detected in one of the Government hospitals and four leading hospitals in Delhi ;
(b) if so, the details thereof ;
(c) whether the Government has conducted any study to determine pesticide abuse in city hospitals resulting in diseases such as Cancer, genetic damages etc; and
(d) if so, the steps taken/proposed to be taken to check the same?

(a) to (d) Health being the State subject, it is for the Government of N.C.T. of Delhi to look into such matters in respect of private hospitals. As regards Central Government hospitals in Delhi, unscrupulous use of heavy doses of pesticides have not been detected and no study has been conducted by the Government in this regard.
